Tune in Friday for Legal Updates from the Judicial College

John Rubin, Phil Dixon and I will host Legal Updates from the Judicial College this Friday, May 8, 2020, from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.  We will discuss recent criminal law decisions by the appellate courts. Below are the details for joining this webinar.

You will need to register through our online registration system, LearningStream. If you have attended a course at the School of Government in the last few years, this is the system that you used to register for that course.

You may register here.

Once you register via LearningStream, you will receive an automated email that will provide you with a link to register in Zoom. Please click this link and complete the short form (name and email).

I know that we are asking you to jump through a lot of hoops here. But, really, is that too much to ask for the pleasure of spending a virtual hour on Friday afternoon with John Rubin? That is a rhetorical question.

After you register in Zoom, you will receive a Zoom email that will include the link to join the webinar. That link is unique to you and should not be shared. You will also be able to add the Zoom webinar to your calendar from this email.

We can accommodate 500 people during Friday’s presentation.

By completing the full registration process ahead of time, you can secure a spot at the webinar. Registration will close at noon on Friday.

If you have any logistical questions, please contact our program manager, Kate Jennings, via email at jennings@sog.unc.edu

We are not offering continuing legal education for tuning into the live version of the update. We plan to post a recording
of the meeting on our Indigent Defense Education site that you may later purchase for CLE credit.

We look forward to speaking with you on Friday!
